Mammootty Biography:

Mammootty is the godson of Saint Thomas Christians in Kerala. He rose to fame at an early age, earning his first prize for acting from government officials before he was 20 years old!
According to some sources Mammooty’s home village Chempu near Vaikom district has offered him refuge since childhood where relatives still live today.”

His younger brother Ibrahimkutty is also an actor. The pair have collaborated on a number of films, most notably the blockbuster Enakku Va Janu Unnumbu (2013). Their son Maqbool Salmaan was cast for lead roles at just 3 months old!

He openly criticised the IIFA Awards’ organizers for totally forgetting about South Indian films by stating that Bollywood, India’s national film industry should stand up against competition from other Southern regionals before calling itself international. In 1981 Mammootty won a state award under “Best Supporting Actor.” From 1982-1984 he was listed as one of top heroes in Malayalam cinema during this period when he established himself as an actor with great potentials to fill any role given him because it would not be easy acting opposite oneself whether on screen or off stage – something many stars struggle mightily through while they try their best just like Sankaracharya did back then until finally achieving success and becoming famous across regions everywhere!

In 1998, Mammootty was honored by the most prestigious “Padma Shri Award.”
One of American software companies (McAfee) listed him as Most Dangerous Celebrity because someone searches for him then may end up with a virus on their system (computer). Cyber perpetrators were targeting Mammooty and so he became one of many targets in this cyber attack. He has also won three National Film Awards including first prize Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar movie ‘first’, second Vidheyan film Mathilukal third Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha & Ponthan Mada(all films).

As a child, he never imagined that one day he would be an actor. His love for the arts began with plays in elementary school and grew into more ambitious projects: He studied theater at college before becoming famous as not just the lead actor of “Anubhavangal Paalichakal,” but also doubling on several other characters! This dedication to variety has made Rajan P Devadas rank among India’s most accomplished actors today- his wide range was displayed beautifully when playing contrasting roles like those found within Ayan Kovil’s short film series “Collaborat8ion.”
